(More customer reviews)While the writing surface works well, these are not 12" x 12" squares. They are actually 11.25" x 11.25". This may not be a big deal to some, but when I tried to use them as part of a checkerboard alternating with true 12" x 12" corkboard squares, the results weren't good. I ended up mounting the chalkboard squares to scrapbook paper, essentially framing them, and they worked out okay.

Our Chalkboard Vinyl is of the highest quality and durability. Use like regular chalkboard but put it almost anywhere that a sticker would stick! Walls, windows, doors, etc!
